Red Monkey Play is a family-run company with over 15 years’ experience in the play industry. We’re one of the leading companies in the play industry and our experience means we understand what children like, current trends and the latest products for equipment and flooring. You also have the reassurance that we work hand in hand with the British and European Safety Standards authorities. All our play equipment is tested and approved according to the latest specifications of the European standard EN 1176.

Environmentally friendly

Our products for education environments are made from the highest-grade timber.

All our products are guaranteed for five years against material and production failures, while the joinery grade timber we use in our play equipment is guaranteed for ten years against dry rotund mould. This environmentally-friendly Tanalith E pressure-treated timber is sourced from sustainable and managed forests and is PEFC and FSC certified. Please ask for more details of our guarantees.

Our aim is to produce stunning play environments that children will love and that will achieve your aims. With hundreds of product ideas to select from – including flooring - we can help you whether you’re looking for a complete play area or one piece of equipment. And if you have your own ideas, our bespoke service opens a world of possibilities. If you have a creative idea but only a small space, talk to us – we can adapt most of our designs to other dimensions. Where possible, we like to get the children involved too!

How we do it

We’re totally passionate about what we do and we pride ourselves on our attention to detail and personal approach. In creating something very special for your school, nursery or play area, we’ll aim to make the whole process as smooth and easy for you. For your convenience, an optional maintenance package is also available as part of our total service.

We’ll arrange to visit you, without obligation, so we can gain a thorough understanding of your vision for the play area and what it’s designed to offer the children. We’ll also discuss ideas with you and any issues you may have. It’s our experience that allows us to offer you such a top quality service.

We’ll then prepare a colour image of the proposed design so you can start to see your play area coming to life. We’ll send this to you with a quote.

Once you’re happy with the design, we can arrange installation at a time to suit you. It will be carried out by our own professional, friendly team with the minimum of disruption. You’ll have the reassurance that they’re used to working with schools, and are reliable and committed to our high standards.

Once we’ve finished the play environment to your complete satisfaction, we’ll make sure the site is clean and tidy. So what you’ll be left with is a very special play environment that’s designed to delight and engage children.
